Kahu Equus Ranch

Informazioni su Questa Struttura

We are a small, private boarding facility on 9 acres that offers Paddock Paradise Track System boarding. We aim to emulate natural behaviors through 24/7 turnout and 24/7 access to netted hay within a mixed-herd setting. The herd has constant access to hay, water, minerals & salt, shelters, and movement. The herd has access to variable footing like free access to our sand arena (gates to shut them out when in use), squeegee in our front loafing areas, and variable footing and ground poles along the track. The herd also has a variety of scratchers to use, free-choice mineral and herb buffet, “puzzle” feeders, an herbal water buffet, and misters under the shelters in the warm months. Pasture turnout for non-metabolic herd members in the warm months, and pastures available for riding in. Kahu Equus also has a species-appropriate nutrition tier for boarding that offers forage and whole-food mashes for breakfast with a hay balancer, chia, Celtic salt, and seasonal herbs. Owner lives on site for daily & nightly checks, and is a bodyworker that offers a bodywork boarding tier for consistent bodywork sessions each month for your horse. Full- care boarding facility that offers winter blanketing, summer fly masks, night-checks, text check-ins, and feeds owner-provided meals/supplements at breakfast. Our facility started as just a home for our own herd, but we wanted to open our gates to other humans and horses that enjoy a boarding environment that is cultivated specifically to a more species-appropriate care style while treating each boarded horse just as thoughtfully as our own. 💗 Even when boarding spots are full, we offer tours for our waitlist!
